Alara Reborn will be the
49th Magic the Gathering expansion set and is the third and final
part of the Shards of Alara Block. The release date is scheduled for
April 30th 2009. Pre-Release events will be held the weekend of
April 25th - April 26th 2009.

 It
seems like Conflux just came out only a few days ago and already the
next Magic the Gathering expansion, Alara Reborn, is on the cusp of
release. With the set due to hit store shelves on April 30th info is
starting to trickle in and the details are exciting. First, card #1
of 145 has already been spoiled and it brings some interesting info
with it. Not only does the art feature Planeswalker Elspeth, but
this also confirms what players have been speculating for some time
now, that Alara Reborn will be an all gold set! This will give
players plenty of synergy for block constructed and limited play,
using the shard colors to build their decks and forcing players to
think outside of the box. Stay tuned to this space as we continue to

•Alara Reborn will be the very first set in the history of
Magic the Gathering to be 100% Gold (Multi-Colored)
•Alara Reborn represents the schemes of mythic planeswalker
Nicol Bolas finally coming to fruition as he smashes the
shards back into one world. Unparalleled power is released
and this is expressed through the cards in the set.
•Dragon Broodmother will be the
Pre-Release Promo card.
•Knight of New Alara will be the release party promo card.
