KILLER COMBOS

Below is a list of cards you can use to destroy your opponent in the best way possible. How you ask? By using GamingEtc.Com's KILLER COMBOS!! If you would like to add a killer combo of your own, join our FORUMS and post one. Have fun, and remember, be nice to your opponent...

KILLER COMBO - Bringer White Dawn / Mindslaver

You want to take control of the game, How about playing everyone of your turns and your opponent's turn.  It's about as good as it gets!

Goblin Welder
(Rare-Fifth Dawn)

Mindslaver
(Rare - Mirrodin)

KILLER COMBO - Goblin Welder/Mindslaver

One of my personal favorites. You control all your opponent's turns! Even in
multiplayer, you can turn the other players against each other, and away from
yourself. This is the combo that currently holds the record for opponents
getting up and shouting "I CONCEDE!!!"

Goblin Welder
(Rare-Urza's Legacy)

Mindslaver
(Rare - Mirrodin)

KILLER COMBO - Goblin Sharpshooter/Death Pits of Rath

If you don't want it on the board, it doesn't stay on the board. An ongoing
Plague Wind.

Goblin Sharpshooter
(Rare-Onslaught)

Death Pits of Rath
(Rare - Tempest, 8th Edition)

KILLER COMBO - Instigator/No Mercy

They attack. You block some and kill 'em, the rest get
through... and die. What if Plague Wind only costed three mana, and made you
pay 10 life? Seems a little more playable now. And here it is.

Instigator
(Rare-Mercadian Masques)

No Mercy
(Rare - Urza's Legacy)

KILLER COMBO - Geth's Grimoire/Words of Waste

Mind Twist is currently restricted in T1. This
is one that can be played every time you draw a card, no strings attached.
Even on your opponent's turn, you have some instant-speed discard and card
drawing (Necrogen Spellbomb, anyone?).

Geth's Grimoire
(Uncommon-Darksteel)

Words of Waste
(Rare - Onslaught)

KILLER COMBO - Intruder Alarm/Voice of the Woods

Crucible of Worlds
(
Rare Fifth Dawn)

Infinite life,
infinite mana. Three cards. Possible turn one, thanks to Fastbond, if you
draw enough lands.

Zuran Orb
(Uncommon - Ice Age)

Fastbond
(
Revised Fastbond)

KILLER COMBO - Intruder Alarm/Voice of the Woods

Whenever a creature comes into play,
untap all creatures. Tap five untapped elves you control: Put a 7/7 green
elemental creature token with trample into play. Infinite 7/7 tramplers. On turn four or five, if you pick the right elves. Killer, indeed.

Intruder Alarm
(Rare - 8th Edition)

Voice of the Woods
(Rare - Onslaught)

KILLER COMBO - Shared Fate/Leveler

Your opponent can't draw anything, AND you've got a
10/10 beatstick. Plus, you've now got access to your opponent's library! I
for one, always find it satisfying to beat my friends with their own cards.

Shared Fate
(Rare - Mirrodin)

Leveler
(Rare - Mirrodin)

KILLER COMBO - Spellbinder/Savage Beating

A new combo from the second set in Mirrodin Block, Darksteel. Equip your Spellbinder to ANY creature, and imprint the awesome Instant Savage Beating to it. When you attack, it activates Savage Beating's "take an extra attack step" ability. If you want double strike, you have to pay the entwine when it's activated, BUT who cares when you have an unlimited amount of attack phases with creatures that constantly untap!!

SpellBinder
(Rare - Darksteel)

Savage Beating
(Rare - Darksteel)

KILLER COMBO - Scythe of the Wretched/Triskelion/Spawning Pit

Scythe of the Wretched
(RARE - Mirrodin)

Triskelion
(RARE- Mirrodin)

Spawning Pit
(Uncommon- Darksteel)
Attach the Scythe to the Triskelion, remove two of its counters do ping your opponent, and one to ping itself, then sacrifice it to the Pit. The Scythe brings it back, and reattaches itself to the Triskelion. Repeat until
satisfied. This also works with Arcbound Ravager, Atog, Disciple of the Vault, etc.

KILLER COMBO - Spellweaver Helix/Regrowth

Imprint any other sorcery, and when you play a second copy of the imprinted
sorcery you can Regrowth it back right away, allowing you to play it
as many times as you have mana!  Good candidates = Hymn to Tourach, Volcanic
Hammer, Vindicate... pick your favorite.

Spellweaver Helix
(Rare - Mirrodin)

Regrowth
(Uncommon- Revised)

KILLER COMBO - Myr Retriever/Disciple of the Vault/Ashnod's Altar

Make sure you have the Disciple in Play along with one Retriever. At some point in the game, you should have another Retriever in your graveyard already, but if not, just make sure you play another one. Sac one to the Altar, then use the two mana to get the other one back from the graveyard using the Retriever's ability and play it, then repeat. Each time a Retriever goes to the graveyard, your opponent loses a life!

Disciple of the Vault
(Common - Mirrodin)

Myr Retriever
(Uncommon - Mirrodin)

Ashnod's Altar
(Uncommon - 6th)

KILLER COMBO - Cold Storage/Sneak Attack

Play Sneak Attack, then attack with a creature. Before it dies at the end of turn, use Cold Storage to save it. The old wording on Cold Storage was kinda confusing, but the new wording is "3: Remove target creature you control from the game. Sacrifice Cold Storage: Put into play under their owners' control all cards removed from the game with Cold Storage". The sneaked creature will live, then, at the perfect time, you can sac the storage and all the creatures you've sneaked will stay in play permanently!

Cold Storage
(Rare - Tempest)

Sneak Attack
(Rare - Urza's Saga)

KILLER COMBO - Squirrel Nest/Earthcraft

Enchant a land you control with the nest, then cast Earthcraft. When you tap that land for a squirrel, you can activate the craft's ability and untap that same land, tapping it again for another creature and so forth until you have a million squirrels. That's a lot of squirrels!!

Squirrel Nest
(Uncommon - Odyssey)

Earthcraft
(Rare - Tempest)

KILLER COMBO - Solitary Confinement/Oath of Scholars

When you're using Solitary Confinement, you're bound to get low on cards in your hand to power it. Use the Oath to replenish your cards (based upon you're opponent always have more cards than you) and keep yourself safe until you can find a way to win.

Solitary Confinement
(Rare - Judgment)

Oath of Scholars
(Rare - Exodus)
KILLER COMBO - Teferi's Puzzle Box/Plagerize

Want card advantage? When your opponent lose their hand to draw the same amount again, Plagerize them to draw that many cards yourself! That leaves them with NO CARDS and you with A LOT of good cards!

Teferi's Puzzle Box
(Rare - 7th/8th/Mirage)

Plagerize
(Rare - Torment)
