KILLER COMBOS
|
Below is a list of cards you can use to
destroy your opponent in the best way possible. How you ask? By using
GamingEtc.Com's KILLER COMBOS!! If you would like to add a killer combo
of your own, join our
FORUMS and
post one. Have fun, and remember, be nice to your opponent...
|
 |
|
 |
You want to take control of the
game, How about playing everyone of your turns and your opponent's turn.
It's about as good as it gets!
|
|

Goblin Welder
(Rare-Fifth Dawn) |

Mindslaver
(Rare - Mirrodin) |
 |
|
 |
One of my personal favorites. You
control all your opponent's turns! Even in
multiplayer, you can turn the other players against each other, and away
from
yourself. This is the combo that currently holds the record for
opponents
getting up and shouting "I CONCEDE!!!"
|
|

Goblin Welder
(Rare-Urza's Legacy) |

Mindslaver
(Rare - Mirrodin) |
 |
|
 |
If you don't want it on the board,
it doesn't stay on the board. An ongoing
Plague Wind.
|
|

Goblin Sharpshooter
(Rare-Onslaught) |

Death Pits of Rath
(Rare - Tempest, 8th Edition) |
 |
|
 |
They attack. You block some and kill
'em, the rest get
through... and die. What if Plague Wind only costed three mana, and made
you
pay 10 life? Seems a little more playable now. And here it is.
|
|

Instigator
(Rare-Mercadian Masques) |

No Mercy
(Rare - Urza's Legacy) |
 |
|
 |
Mind Twist is currently restricted
in T1. This
is one that can be played every time you draw a card, no strings
attached.
Even on your opponent's turn, you have some instant-speed discard and
card
drawing (Necrogen Spellbomb, anyone?).
|
|

Geth's Grimoire
(Uncommon-Darksteel) |

Words of Waste
(Rare - Onslaught) |
 |
|
 |

Crucible of Worlds
(Rare Fifth Dawn) |
Infinite life,
infinite mana. Three cards. Possible turn one, thanks to Fastbond, if
you
draw enough lands. |
|
Zuran Orb
(Uncommon - Ice Age) |
Fastbond
(Revised Fastbond) |
 |
|
 |
Whenever a creature comes into play,
untap all creatures. Tap five untapped elves you control: Put a 7/7
green
elemental creature token with trample into play. Infinite 7/7 tramplers.
On turn four or five, if you pick the right elves. Killer, indeed. |
|

Intruder Alarm
(Rare - 8th Edition) |

Voice of the Woods
(Rare - Onslaught) |
 |
|
 |
Your opponent can't draw anything,
AND you've got a
10/10 beatstick. Plus, you've now got access to your opponent's library!
I
for one, always find it satisfying to beat my friends with their own
cards.
|
|

Shared Fate
(Rare - Mirrodin) |

Leveler
(Rare - Mirrodin) |
 |
|
 |
A new combo from the second set in
Mirrodin Block, Darksteel. Equip your Spellbinder to ANY creature, and
imprint the awesome Instant Savage Beating to it. When you attack, it
activates Savage Beating's "take an extra attack step" ability. If you
want double strike, you have to pay the entwine when it's activated, BUT
who cares when you have an unlimited amount of attack phases with
creatures that constantly untap!! |
|

SpellBinder
(Rare - Darksteel) |

Savage Beating
(Rare - Darksteel) |
|
 |
 |
|

Scythe of the Wretched
(RARE - Mirrodin) |

Triskelion
(RARE- Mirrodin) |

Spawning Pit
(Uncommon- Darksteel) |
Attach the Scythe to the Triskelion, remove two of its
counters do ping your opponent, and one to ping itself, then sacrifice it to
the Pit. The Scythe brings it back, and reattaches itself to the Triskelion.
Repeat until
satisfied. This also works with Arcbound Ravager, Atog, Disciple of the
Vault, etc. |
 |
|
 |
Imprint any other sorcery, and when
you play a second copy of the imprinted
sorcery you can Regrowth it back right away, allowing you to play it
as many times as you have mana! Good candidates = Hymn to Tourach,
Volcanic
Hammer, Vindicate... pick your favorite. |
|
|

Spellweaver Helix
(Rare - Mirrodin) |

Regrowth
(Uncommon- Revised) |
|
 |
 |
Play Sneak Attack, then attack with a
creature. Before it dies at the end of turn, use Cold Storage to save it.
The old wording on Cold Storage was kinda confusing, but the new wording is
"3: Remove target creature you control from the game. Sacrifice Cold
Storage: Put into play under their owners' control all cards removed from
the game with Cold Storage". The sneaked creature will live, then, at the
perfect time, you can sac the storage and all the creatures you've sneaked
will stay in play permanently! |
|

Cold Storage
(Rare - Tempest) |

Sneak Attack
(Rare - Urza's Saga) |
|
 |
 |
When you're using Solitary Confinement,
you're bound to get low on cards in your hand to power it. Use the Oath to
replenish your cards (based upon you're opponent always have more cards than
you) and keep yourself safe until you can find a way to win. |

Solitary Confinement
(Rare - Judgment) |

Oath of Scholars
(Rare - Exodus) |
 |
 |
Want card advantage? When your opponent
lose their hand to draw the same amount again, Plagerize them to draw that
many cards yourself! That leaves them with NO CARDS and you with A LOT of
good cards! |

Teferi's Puzzle Box
(Rare - 7th/8th/Mirage) |

Plagerize
(Rare - Torment) |
 |
 |
Do you hate taking damage? Play the
cheap Energy Field so damage is prevented to you, then play Yawgmoth's
Agenda. Cards will never go to your graveyard so you don't have to sac the
Field, and on top of that, you can play cards in your graveyard already as
though they were in your HAND!! |

Energy Field
(Rare - Urza's Saga) |

Yawgmoth's Agenda
(Rare - Invasion) |
 |
 |
Enchant one of your creatures with the
dagger, then use it. You'll deal a damage to your opponent, then you'll draw
a card. Forget about what card you drew, cause you're just going to discard
it to the Mind Over Matter to untap your creature and do it again, and so
forth and so forth. Infinite Damage! |

Quicksilver Dagger
(Common - Apocalypse) |

Mind Over Matter
(Rare - Exodus) |
 |
|
 |
When you have the Furnace of Rath in
play and enough mana to play the wind, cast it. That's 20 damage, AS AN
INSTANT, to your opponent. They'll probably be dead after this killer combo. |

Searing Wind
(Rare - Prophecy/8th) |

Furnace of Rath
(Rare - Tempest/8th) |
 |
|
 |
When form is in play, you go down to 5
life every turn's upkeep. With the care in play, you get double the cards
while you're beating your opponent down with 5 damage every turn! |

Form of the Dragon
(Rare - Scourge) |

Convalescent Care
(Rare - Onslaught) |
 |
|
 |
Because Dauthi Horror is easy to play
and cheap at that, you can attack with this shadow creature then play
Hatred, basically paying the majority of your life to destroy your opponent
with an unblockable creature. |

Dauthi Horror
(Common - Tempest) |

Hatred
(Rare - Exodus) |
 |
|
 |
A very dangerous combo for your opponent
to be affected by. Basically, their entire deck can be removed by the game
by cutting it in half and using a card that NEVER should have been made, but
was. Your opponent will basically scoop if you get this combo off. |

Traumatize
(Rare - Odyssey) |

Haunting Echoes
(Rare - Odyssey) |
