Conflux will be the
48th Magic the Gathering expansion set and is the second of the 3
part Shards of Alara Block. The release date is scheduled for
February 6th 2009 . Pre-Release events will be held the weekend of
January 31st - February 1st 2009.

 With
the Release of Shards of Alara, Wizards saw the biggest growth in
its player base since the launch of the game. The art direction and
mechanics drew alot of new players to MTG, and the introduction of
new Planeswalkers among other great cards intrigued the existing
base. The world waits with baited breath as Wizards prepares to
debut the second set in the Shards block, Conflux. With a host of
reprints already revealed it will be interesting to see how the
introduction of older power cards into Standard will affect the
metagame. Stay tuned to this space as we continue to bring you
