| Upper Deck Gears up to
launch their newest Superhero Trading Card Game in late
March |
The Marvel TCG license has
found a new home in the hands of Trading Card Game
publisher, Upper Deck Entertainment (UDE). This brand new
game will be based on the slew of Marvel Superhero films
that have been released since 1998. Starting with Blade and
moving on through blockbuster hits like X-Men, Spider-Man,
Hulk, Daredevil, Iron-Man, and more, the R&D team has a
plethora of resources to work with. The artwork for the
cards uses still captures from the movies, re-mastered for
print, and features an innovative horizontal layout.
Gamingetc will be looking forward to carrying this exciting
new TCG and hope that the quality of the gameplay will be
everything that marvel fans have been looking for. Upper
Deck plans on launching a strong Organized Play program with
fantastic prize support and is using a new foil technology
on the ultra rare chase cards in the set. Stay tuned to this

Marvel Superstars is a fast-paced trading card game that allows the players to battle as the stars of the Marvel Universe. Unlike previous Marvel Trading Card Games, this product will use high resolution movie images from the Marvel blockbusters Iron Man, Incredible Hulk and X-Men. Each player can control the destiny of their favorite Marvel Universe character!
The first booster set will be released concurrently with the starter and will include special Super Rare foil cards, which are highly collectible and represent the most powerful and exciting elements in the game!
